From what I’ve seen from the JP reports quest boards are still a thing so I’m fine because past the novelty of seamlessness I for the life of me don’t want to spend a ton of time to get to the furthest r locale to do a gathering quest. I’m sure fast travel will be a thing but I always believed fast travel was a crutch to cover up for the annoyance of what an open world actually is. Anyway if anyone can pull it off it’s the MH guys. So I’m cautiously optimistic they don’t bend to the whims of western games in an effort to expand market but lose what makes the game special. lost planet 3 anyone??

Go for Vagabound if you start a new Character. Vagabound has a good stat spread for most builds that aren't pure casters since he starts with High Vig and End(Trust me you need those). I often look at the stating class optimizer to check which starting class has the least wasted levels for my build and most of the time it's the Vagabound. Astrologer is good for int Sorceries, Prophet for Faith incantations and sometimes Bandit for Bleed stuff. All this is only really important if you're planing to do pvp and stay at a certain meta level since it gives you sometimes somewhere about 5 extra levels to work with.

They probably hate druid, because they sell the least skins, being in transformation most of the time.

The difficulty in acquiring mats is fine imo, but I really wish there were other (equally challenging/grindy) ways to get them. Just for variety sake. Like if they dropped from tier 46+ NM dungeons or from Helltides while using Profane Mindcage with enemies over lvl 100. I'm fine with the effort it takes, I just wish there was some variety. I can comfortably do 100+ pit runs, but it gets mind-numbing when you have to do like 12 back-to-back runs of The Pit to upgrade one piece of gear.

Blizzard isnt a funny company in any way at any given time. They are greedy bastards with low quality these days, Diablo 4 has been insanely good example of it. Imo seasons should be 4-6 months.

the sitched godskin sword which is a heavy thrust weapon is amazing for blood tax bluild.. it's very long and very fast and with blood affinity I am at 138 blood loss at +25 .... now combine it with mimic tear and you have everyting X2 shred bosses in a minute

5-head play: Give the items you wanna dual wield to a friend, who then gives them to a new non-ng+ char. Same same with late game weapons, talismans, armor, and golden runes. Unfortunately you can’t trade spirits, spells, key items, and weapons can’t be upgraded beyond the highest upgraded weapon the new char has.

Everything you said is absolute truth. BUT most importantly when you got to UNIQUE ITEMS section I fell out my chair. This is the part that bothers me off the chart and shows the disconnect between Blizzard and Sorc Reality. Example I want Esadora's Cameo to work so badly I could taste it but Blizzard is so disconnected from reality. Andy's Visage lucky hit chance connected poison nova gets a 50% buff (rogue build related ) verses 10% per 100 int at a flat 15% NO LUCKY hit CONNECTION. Daaaaahh> No understanding at all.

i upgraded my winterglass to 12..... I got a hit on conjuration. Then resources oh well, at lvl 9 or 10 i had +4 conjur ... last chance lvl 12 lets go, and i HIT CONJURATION screaming of joy Hitting the last conjuratoin took it from +4 to +3 instead of +6 havent started the game since im furious

I started a new playthrough a week ago . Playing a darkmoon greatsword build. Im 148 level however only right before volcano manor . I'm doing a 100 percent playthrough on the stean deck (got platinum 2 years ago on ps5) and i got the item to let me go to moghs boss fight. So when the dlc comes out . I can literally start the dlc at any time . However i may just get to the end of the game
